Announcement: The Intime Collective has moved aside for the ‘Louise Gilbert’ brand

Register now: design your career with the World of Work

Director Louise Gilbert is thrilled to announce that registrations are now open for the first intake of the new World of Work Program (now closed).

The innovative program, which launches from 26 October, is designed to support women looking to return to work or change careers.

“From applying for new jobs to completely changing careers or setting up a business, the World of Work will support women to build the confidence, knowledge and skills to take charge of their career – and their life,” Louise said.

“The World of Work is an opportunity for participants to explore both what lights them up – their strengths, interests and passions – and what they want to do career-wise. It’s about finding that ‘sweet spot’ for a fulfilling career.

“It’s more than just a course or webinar – participants will leave the program equipped with practical tools and a plan of action to succeed.”

Louise has joined forces with expert career practitioners Tanaz Byramji of Tanaz Coaching and ALLAN GATENBY FRIEdr FRIM CMF JP of ACPi Australia to create the program – which is the first of its kind in Australia.

The program is delivered via an innovative online platform, Howspace, with interactive workshops, learning activities, career coaching, and online resources. It offers a unique blend of:

  • career planning
  • job search and application advice
  • interview preparation
  • employer and training showcases
  • confidence building
  • developing practical tools such as resumes and cover letters

Every woman has different experiences and needs, so the program is customised to each participant with the support of career coaches.

The World of Work also partners with employers that can offer real career opportunities.

“Our employer partnerships are where the World of Work is different to any other career program you might have considered,” Louise said.

“We bring employers together with participants so they can ask questions and learn more about what it’s really like to work at their organisation – no more blindly applying for roles and hoping it works out!”

The World of Work will initially support 500 women with funding from the Australian Government’s National Careers Institute Partnership Grants.

“World of Work participants will be supported to design their life and career and determine the practical ways to make it a reality. To ultimately be happier, healthier and more engaged in their work,” Louise said.

“If you know someone you think would benefit from the World of Work Program, we’d love your help spreading the word so we can reach as many women as possible!”

Registrations are now open for the first intake of the program, which launches from 10 October.

Thanks to government funding, participants pay just a $19 registration fee.
